Vathis

Vathis is located 11 km northeast of Pothia and has the largest and most fertile valley in Kalymnos. The combination of the bay and the wooded valley full of citrus creates an astonishing landscape. On the slopes of the hills, near the port, there is the settlement of Rina, which was destroyed in the early 15th century by pirates. The church of St. Irini is built there nowadays. At the port there is a boat yard and a safe anchorage for tourist yachts. Next to the port there is a natural aquarium which is definitely worth the visit.

Pserimos

Pserimos is the largest island belonging to Kalymnos. It is located between Kalymnos and Kos and has an area of ​​15 sq. km. There is a ferry connection with both islands. Pserimos is mountainous, with low vegetation and teeming with wild capers, which were famous since  antiquity. In the harbor, which is also the only settlement of Pserimos, you will find one of the most beautiful beaches. There are also cafes and restaurants with fresh fish, a little grocery store and few rooms for accommodation. The are no cars or motorcycles on the island.

Arginonta

Arginonta is a picturesque coastal village located 17 km. from the port of Kalymnos. It is built around a deep bay and has a lovely beach and several taverns.

Therma

This is a pebbly beach with rocks both on the coast and in the sea. It is just 2 km. from Pothia. It is organized with umbrellas and sunbeds. There is also a restaurant on the beach.

Kantouni

This is a sandy beach in Panormos, just 8.5 km. from Pothia. It attracts mostly young ages as the shops and beach bars are open almost 24 hours a day. Kantouni Beach offers a wonderful view of the sunset.

Gefyra

This is a small and beautiful beach with pebbles and rocks. The waters are crystal clear and the trees in the area offer a natural shade.

Myrties

The pebbly beach Myrties is considered the most beautiful beach of the island. It is located west of the island, just 8km. from Pothia. It is ideal for families with children as it has long, shallow waters. It is organized in sections. Opposite Myrties you can see Telendos (daily routes with small boats).

Platys Gialos

Platys Gialos is one of the most famous beaches of Kalymnos, with crystal clear waters and black sand. It is located near Panormos and offers a wonderful view of the sunset.
